BALT Furniture Warranty

One (1) Year Warranty - Chairs/Stools and all Furniture
Two (2) Year Warranty - Pneumatic/Height Adjustable Office Chairs/Stools

BALT, Division of MooreCo, Inc., warrants to the original consumer/purchaser that the BALT furniture product line will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. Should your furniture product(s) fail due to defects in material or workmanship, BALT, Division of MooreCo, Inc., at its discretion, will repair or replace the defective product at its facility, without cost to you, with the exception of shipping charges to our facility. BALT, Division of MoorCo, Inc., will ship the repaired furniture product(s) to the consumer/purchaser the best way, free of charge. BALT, Division of MoorCo, Inc., will provide payment for all shipping charges for defective/malfunctioning furniture product(s) within the first thirty days (30) of purchase. Proof of purchase is required.

This warranty does not cover normal maintenance of the furniture products from BALT, Division of MooreCo, Inc., which is the consumer/purchaser's sole responsibility. This warranty also does not cover damage to the furniture products from BALT, Division of MoorCo, Inc., due to abuse, misuse, neglect, accident, modification of the furniture, water damage, or damage during shipping.

THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY OF BALT, DIVISION OF MOORECO, INC., AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL BALT, DIVISION OF MOORECO, INC., BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIONAL DAMAGES

BALT, ,Division of MooreCo, Inc., will advise you of the procedure to follow in making warranty claims. Contact BALT, Division of MooreCo, Inc., using the address or telephone number below. Please have ready your model number, description of product, description of defect, proof of original purchase, purchase name, address, area code and telephone number. PRODUCTS RETURNED TO OUR FACILITY WITHOUT A RETURN AUTHORIZATION WILL BE REFUSED.

Bestar Furniture Warranty

Bestar products are warranted to the original purchaser against defects in material or workmanship in the furniture. "Defect" as used in this warranty refers to any imperfections which impair the use of the product.

This warranty is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of furniture components. Bestar will repair or furnish a replacement component, subject to availability of stock, if the component is deemed defective within the terms of the warranty. Assembly labor is not included.

This warranty applies under conditions of normal use and does not cover the defects resulting from negligence, misuse, unreasonable exposure, or if the product has been modified by the purchaser.

Bestar reserves the right to request proof of purchase as well as other proof to document a warranty claim.
This warranty is not transferable.

Bestar warranty is applicable in Canada and USA only.

Boss

Boss Furniture Warranty

NORSTAR OFFICE PRODUCTS SIX-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

NORSTAR Office Products wants you to be happy with our products. When used and maintained properly, they will provide you with years of satisfaction.

NORSTAR chairs are warranted against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for six years from the ORIGINAL DATE OF RETAIL PURCHASE with the following exceptions: Upholstery materials, foam, gas cylinders, wood components, control mechanisms and electronic components. Upholstery materials and foam are warranted against unusual wear or deterioration and gas cylinders, wood components, and controls against structural failure or unusual wear for EIGHTEEN months. All electronic components for the massaging units have a 90-day warranty period.

The warranty obligation is limited to the replacement or repair, at NORSTAR OFFICE PRODUCTS’ option, of defective parts and components. The warranty of this product is null and void if the product is subject to negligence, abuse, misuse, accident, or if the customer does not perform the necessary maintenance outline below. The warranty is only rated for the original purchaser of the product and will not be honored if the product is resold. All warranties are for normal usage defined as a forty hour work week by persons weighing two hundred fifty pounds or less. The model B205 is limited to one hundred fifty pounds. Specific limitations are available upon request.

Should any component be found to be defective under normal single shift usage (eight hours a day), that component will be replaced free of charge. In order to get the replacement part, please return the product or part to the dealer from whom it was purchased. The dealer will send the defective part to the manufacturer, freight prepaid. The manufacturer will repair or replace the defective parts and return it to the dealer, freight prepaid. Customers must be responsible for maintenance of this product including assembly, cleaning, and making sure all hardware is securely fastened.

This warranty applies only to the product; the manufacturer is not responsible in any way for loss, inconvenience or any other special or consequential damages caused by any product defect. This warranty is the only warranty applicable on all Norstar products. All other warranties, expressed or implied prior, are disclaimed.

Bretford

Bretford Product Warranty

Bretford engineers and manufactures its products to provide dependable operation.

Therefore, Bretford warrants that all products it manufactures are - at date of shipment - free from defects in material or workmanship. Any product which under normal use, regardless of the number of shifts during which the product is in use, fails to function within the time periods specified below, and found defective in material or workmanship by Bretford’s inspection, will be repaired or replaced without charge to the buyer or, at the election of Bretford, a credit will be allowed up to the invoice purchase price of the product.

This warranty is inapplicable where, in the judgment of Bretford, the defect is attributable to abnormal wear, misapplication, abnormal use, misuse, modification or damage after shipment, including damage caused by the buyer’s failure to properly maintain the item, or other similar cause.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY ORDINARY OR PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACE HEREOF.

Bretford EDU 2.0, Basics and Collections Furniture - Twelve (12) Years

Bush Furniture Warranty

10 YEAR COMMERCIAL WARRANTY

All products marketed under the Bush Business Furniture brand are warranted to the original purchaser at the time of purchase and for a period of ten years thereafter.

We warrant to you, the original purchaser, that our commercial quality furniture and all its parts and components are free of defects in material or workmanship. “Defects,” as used in this warranty, is defined as any imperfection which impairs the use of the furniture product.

Our warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of furniture parts and components. For ten years after the date of purchase, Bush Business Furniture will replace any parts that are defective in material or workmanship.

This warranty applies under conditions of normal use. Our Bush Business Furniture products are not intended for outdoor use. This warranty does not cover: 1) defects caused by improper assembly or disassembly; 2) defects occurring after purchase due to product modification; intentional damage, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence or exposure to the elements; and 3) labor or assembly costs.

IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, SHALL NOT EXTEND BEYOND THE DURATION OF THE WRITTEN WARRANTY STATED ABOVE, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL BUSH INDUSTRIES BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OF THE PRODUCT. Some states do not allow a limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation and exclusion may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that may vary from state to state.

Community

Community warrants to the original purchaser that each piece of furniture will be free from defects in workmanship given normal use for five years of single shift service. Products used in restaurant applications are warranted for two years. Casters are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five years and textiles for two years.

Community will, at its option, repair or replace any defective merchandise within the terms of the warranty. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, alteration, or misuse.

Ergo

WARRANTY
ERGO Office Seating warrants that products will be free from defects in its material and workmanship, as described below, for as long as the original purchaser owns the product. The company will repair or replace, at its option, without charge to the original purchaser only, defective products or parts form normal use.

Lifetime warranty* which is the entire time owned by the original purchaser for all chair components including the pneumatic cylinder, control mechanism, base, glides, casters, frames and other structural elements. Fabric Upholstery and Leather is warranted to the original purchaser for three years from date of purchase.

This warranty shall be effective for the applicable time period starting from date of purchase as shown on your original receipt or other proof of purchase. This warranty is your sole remedy for product defects and excludes defects due to arising in connection with product abuse or misuse, user modification of, or attachments to the product, including application of your own upholstery materials and products or parts not used, maintained or installed in accordance with the company's installation, maintenance and /or applicable guidelines.

Normal use consists of a standard 8 hour shift in a 5 day work week, and a 250 lbs. weight capacity.

We will repair or, at our option, replace the defective part, free of charge to the purchaser, provided that the purchaser returns said parts freight prepaid to our offices. Labor and service are not covered under this warranty.

There are no other warranties, expressed or implied, other than those specifically described, including without limitation any implied warranty or merchantability or of fitness for a particular purpose. We will not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

Textiles are sold subject to minor variations of color. Since textiles vary in weave, thickness and memory, some creasing and /or gathering may occur during the upholstery application process. All furniture is sold subject to minor irregularities of color, surface, grain and texture. Our leather upholstery materials are of the finest quality. Because leather is a natural product, variations of texture are common and should be expected. Leather will contain natural markings such a neck wrinkles, scratches, backbone marks and stretch marks. These distinctions give leather its unique characteristics and are considered to be a part of the natural beauty of leather.

ANSI/BIFMA
ERGO Office Seating products meet or exceed applicable BIFMA and ANSI standards.

Flammability
The fabric and foam used in ERGO Office Seating chairs meet the requirements of California TB117.

Flash Furniture

Most of our chairs have a 2 year warranty for parts. If a replacement part is needed, simply fax 770-721-8360 in your parts request, and your part will usually be shipped within 24 hours.

  • This warranty is for standard commercial use, which is considered to be a standard eight hour work day, five days a week.

THE WARRANTY
Should any product fail, the defective product must be returned to HIGHMARK or one of its authorized dealers, freight prepaid, with proof of original purchase. Written authorization must be obtained before shipping the product directly to HIGHMARK. For products shipped directly to HIGHMARK, HIGHMARK will repair or replace the part(s) or product at its discretion. If the product is returned to an authorized dealer for repairs, HIGHMARK will provide the materials to repair the product free of charge, including transportation costs.

FABRIC, VINYL & LEATHER VARIATIONS

  • Seating upholstered in fabric, vinyl or leather is sold, subject to normal variations and/or irregularities in color, texture and grain.
  • HIGHMARK is not responsible for slight differences in fabric color due to supplier dye lot differences on large orders or on repeat orders placed at later dates from the original order.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED, HIGHMARK MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Under no circumstances, including but not limited to breach of contract, breach of warranty or negligence, shall HIGHMARK be liable for lost profits, loss of goodwill, stored data, general, special, consequential or exemplary damages, even if HIGHMARK had notice of these damages or they were foreseeable. HIGHMARK shall not be responsible for verifying Dealer's or customer's description of needs, data, or the fitness for a particular purpose of goods. HIGHMARK liability in all cases shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective parts, or the purchase price of the product. Damages resulting from misuse, abuse, alteration, negligence, accidents or lack of maintenance are not covered under this warranty.

* Upholstery = HIGHMARK Fabric, Vinyl or Leather and all filling materials (Foam, Dacron). Customer's Own Material (COM/COV/COL) is not covered by upholstery warranty.

JSI Furniture Warranty

JSI warrants to the original purchaser that each piece of furniture will be free from defects in workmanship given normal use for a period of twelve years of single shift service. Pneumatic lifts and casters are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five years and textiles for two years. JSI will, at its option, repair or replace any defective merchandise within the terms of the warranty. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, alteration, or misuse.

Five (5) Year Limited Warranty

We are confident that you will appreciate the fine quality and craftsmanship of our product. O'Sullivan Furniture stands proudly behind each and every product we manufacture and guarantee our work through the following five (5) year limited warranty.

In order to provide you with timely assistance, please thoroughly inspect your furniture for missing or defective parts immediately after opening the carton. To receive replacement or missing part(s) under this warranty, go to our website at www.osullivan.com. Please have the model number and part number(s) located in the Instruction Sheet available for reference. You will also need your sales receipt or other proof of purchase. Replacement part(s) will be shipped to you at no charge with O'Sullivan Furniture assuming all shipping and handling expense.

Lesro Furniture

It is our pleasure to provide you with high quality products. We stand behind the craftsmanship of our products and accordingly guarantee our work with the following warranty.

For Lesro to assist you in a timely manner, we request that you inspect the product you have ordered thoroughly for defects, damage and/or missing hardware or components immediately upon receipt. We also suggest that you retain a record of purchase, such as a sales receipt, and the accompanying shipping paperwork.

This warranty is applicable solely between Lesro and you, the original purchaser.

The warranty guarantees that the product you have purchased and all of its components are void of defects in material or craftsmanship. "Defects" are defined as any imperfection which may impair the proper use of the product.

This warranty is applicable only under conditions of normal use. The warranty does not cover defects caused by improper assembly or dis-assembly, defects occurring after purchase due to; product modification, intentional damage, accident, misuse, abuse or negligence, cosmetic damage, labor or assembly costs.

All Lesro frames and assemblies are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. Fabric and vinyl covering is warranted for 2 years from date of shipment.

Marquis

Warranty

Marquis International promises to repair or replace any Marquis Collection product or component that is found to be defective in material or workmanship within five (5) years from the date of original purchase. This warranty only applies to the original owner of the new Marquis product.

Marquis International will not pay for labor costs to repair or replace warranted products/parts. Products must be returned to Marquis International prepaid, to be repaired at no charge. The customer is responsible for all freight charges. No transportation costs will be reimbursed for this service. This warranty is subject to the provisions below.

Limitations:

  • Upholstery fabric on chairs is warranted for two (2) years from date of purchase.

Exclusions:
This warranty does not apply and no other warranty applies to:

  • Normal wear and tear, which are to be expected over the course of ownership.
  • Modifications or attachments to the product that are not approved by Marquis International.
  • Products that were not assembled, installed, used or maintained in accordance with product instructions and warnings.
  • Products used for rental purposes.

Color variations, fabrics and finishes:
Marquis International does not warranty the color-fastness or matching of colors, grains or textures of covering materials.

Other warranties:
To the extent allowed by law, Marquis International makes no other warranty, either express or implied, including any of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Marquis International will not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages.

Mayline Furniture Warranty

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

The Mayline Group promises to repair or replace any Mayline Group (includes Mayline Company, Tiffany Industries, and Kwik-File) brand product or component manufactured after 1/1/2000, that is defective in material or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns it. This is the sole and exclusive remedy. This warranty is subject to limitations, exclusions and other provisions detailed below.

Limitations involving materials and components:
The materials and components listed below are covered according to the following schedule from the date of sale:

  • Ten Years: Electrical components, seating controls, seating pneumatic cylinders, wood seating components.
  • Five Years: Fabric and leather seating upholstery, seating foam, seating, armrests, and veneer finishes.

Exclusions:
This warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear, which is to be expected over the course of ownership.
  • Damage caused by the carrier in-transit, which will be handled under
  • Mayline Group’s Freight Damage policy.
  • Modifications or attachments to the product that are not approved by
  • Mayline Group.
  • Products that were not installed, used or maintained in accordance with
  • product instructions and warnings.
  • Products used for rental purposes.

Seating Usage:
Normal commercial usage for seating is to be defined as the equivalent of a single shift within a 40-hour workweek. To the extent that a seating product is used in a manner exceeding this, the applicable warranty period will be reduced in a pro-rata manner (excluding Model 2424AG which is warranted for multiple shifts).

Note: Some natural variations occurring in wood or leather materials are inherent in their character, and cannot be avoided. Mayline Group does not warrant the color-fastness or matching of colors, grains, or textures of such materials.

TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, THE MAYLINE GROUP MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. THE MAYLINE GROUP WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES. 

Office Star

Office Star Furniture Warranty

LIMITED WARRANTY

SPACE® chairs are warranted* from the date of purchase against failure due to material and workmanship as follows:

  • Lifetime on component parts including pneumatic cylinder, control mechanism, base and casters.
  • 3 Years on upholstery fabric and foam against wear and deterioration.

All warranties are limited to the original purchaser for normal commercial usage defined as a standard forty hour work week by persons weighing 250 lbs. or less. This warranty will not cover labor, freight or damage from misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, accident, vandalism, rusting, acts of nature or any other event beyond the control of Office Star Products. The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage that may result from normal use. Liability for incidental or consequential damages is excluded. The user assumes all risk of injury resulting from use of this product. When usage is more than 40 hours per week, a five year warranty on all parts applies. Fabric is warranted for one year. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

To make a warranty claim, contact Parts Department via e-mail parts@officestar.net, by Fax 1-909-930-5629, or toll free parts number 1-800-950-7262, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Provide model number and description of the problem and obtain confirmation number. At it’s option Office Star Products will:

  1. Supply compatible components of current manufacture.
  2. Repair the customer’s component.

It is the customer’s responsibility to prepay freight on any components returned to the factory. Return freight on components covered by warranty will be paid by Office Star Products.

Office Star Casegoods Warranty

OSP Furniture includes office casegoods, coordinated wood guest seating and reception seating/tables manufactured for quality and durability. These products are warranted from the original purchase date and to the original purchaser for normal commercial usage - defined as standard forty-hour work week and by persons weighing 250 lbs. or less - according to the below-listed schedule and limitations.

Casegoods

  • 10 years against failure due to materials and workmanship
  • Laminate finishes are covered for a period of 5 years
  • Veneer finishes are covered for a period of 3 years
  • Electrical components are not covered by this warranty

Reception Tables

  • 5 years structural integrity
  • 3 years on wood finishes

Reception & Wood Guest Seating

  • 5 years structural integrity of frame
  • 3 years on seating wood finishes
  • 3 years on upholstery fabric against wear and deterioration (except leather)
  • Leather is not warranted against routine scratching and scuffing, as leather is subject to minor blemishes in use. Minor variations in color, texture and grain are a natural part of leather hides, and therefore, are not covered by this warranty.

Grain, color and finishes
Variation of grain and color are natural, inherent characteristic of wood, a living material. This variation is part of the beauty of real wood and anticipated in wood veneer furnishings. Therefore, OSP Furniture is not warranted to match in grain or color or texture. It is a natural phenomenon for wood grain to change in color as it ages, and wood finishes are not warranted for color-fastness.

Warranty Exclusions
This warranty will not cover labor, freight, or damage from misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, assembly, installation, attachments, accident, vandalism, acts of nature or any other event beyond the control of Office Star Products. The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage that may result from normal use. Liability for incidental or consequential damage is excluded. The user assumes all risk of injury resulting from use of this product.

This warranty applies to products purchased through authorized OSP Furniture dealers and products sold within the United States of America and the Commonwealth of Canada. This warranty does not apply to products used for rental purposes. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Offices To Go (OTG) Furniture

Offices To Go Furniture Warranty

5 Year Warranty

Offices to Go warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship subject to the limitations below. This warranty is made by Offices to Go to original end user customers acquiring the product directly from authorized Offices to Go dealers. The customer's sole remedy under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement at Offices to Go's option. Consent from Offices to Go must be obtained before any warranty work is performed. This warranty shall not apply to any products which must be replaced due to normal wear and tear, negligence, abuse or "accident", shipping damage or product use other than in accordance with written instructions or warnings. It will also not apply when product has been modified or altered, repaired or refurbished by someone other than Offices to Go. This warranty does not cover the cost of transportation or labor. Offices to Go can make no warranty that any of its products are suitable for any particular purpose and can make no other warranties, expressed or implied. In no event shall Offices to Go be liable in either tort or contract for any loss or direct, special, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages. This warranty is not valid if the products are used for rental purposes.

Under this warranty, claims must be made within the following periods from the original date of purchase: (a) non-moving parts are warranted for five years; (b) gas cylinders, mechanisms and other moving parts are warranted for two years; and (c) upholstered materials and foam are warranted for two years.

Warranty is based on an eight hour, single-shift work day and for users weighing up to 250 pounds.

Sunway

Sunway Warranty

LIMITED WARRANTY

Standard products sold are warranted by Sunway, Inc. (Sunway), only to Purchasers for resale or for use in business or original equipment manufacture, free from defects in workmanship and/or materials and will perform their intended function under normal installation for a period of one (1) year after date of purchase unless otherwise stated in product listing in the current Sunway catalog or literature – provided the failure was not caused by accident or deliberate misuse. Any part which is determined by Sunway to be defective in material or workmanship after inspection and returned to Sunway or an authorized, by Sunway, location, shipping costs prepaid, will be, as the exclusive remedy, repaired or replaced with a new part at Sunway’s option during the warranty period.

The Purchaser must contact Sunway directly in writing for any warranty claim to be processed (Sunway may request a photograph). In order to process warranty claims, the following is required: specific nature and date of problem, proof of purchase, and manufacturing date code of the part.

Returns must follow Sunway’s return policy. The repaired or replacement product will be returned to customer at Sunway’s expense via standard ground shipment to 48 contiguous states or via Sunway’s choice of carrier where applicable.

Sunway makes no other warranty, expressed or implied, for associated damages, labor costs, shipping and handling charges, or any condition occurring as a result of improper installation, repair, or replacement of the Part or on conditions occurring after installation by the Purchaser including and without limitation, the purchaser’s misapplication of the product. In no event shall our liability under this warranty exceed the original purchase price of the product determined to be defective.

Custom products carry no warranty unless specifically agreed to in writing through Sunway.
