When considering the purchase of an executive office desk, you need to evaluate the size of your room, the equipment you have and the work you do. There are many choices of executive desks from modest sized styling of a top over end panel design to larger styled executive desks like u-shaped desks with corner units. You need to be able to position your computer monitor at the right height and in the most visually convenient position. Your executive office desk should provide the storage you require while still allowing approximately 3½ feet to navigate your chair. If you have a larger office and plan to have reception seating, you need to allow approximately 3 feet around your desk to give ample walking and sitting room.
